fingerlakes fiber fest

What a glorious day, i didn't even mind that it rained a bit... i spent the day in Hemlock NY... at the fingerlakes fiber fest... i felt i was in heaven... yarns, sheep, roving, sheep, felt, sheep, ideas, and yes... more sheep.The colors were rich, the people so friendly to share their ideas and craft. i came home and i want to do it all, but alas.. .the three lovelys wanted dinner...

I spent the afternoon at the Great New York State Fair.... I'm not much for rides, and games so i sent my husband and three lovely children to enjoy..... i love sheep, so i spent my afternoon wandering between the sheep barn, and a sheep to shawl contest. What a lovely day, watching people card, spin, and weave... "i" could do that.... and then watching the various breeds of sheep in the ring, being judged and shown... not sure if "i" could do that alone, but with the help of the tree "lovely's" in my life the possibilities are endless...
